What this site stores on your device, why, and how to refuse it without losing the ability to shop.
How this site remembers things
Rather than scattering cookies, this site keeps a handful of small values in your browser’s own storage: your cookie choice itself (a value named to_cookies, set to essential or all), your bag, your preferred currency, your saved pieces and the pieces you viewed recently, a number that keeps any chat with us together, and — when you sign in — a session token that keeps you signed in. Nothing here is set for advertising, and nothing is sold to anyone.
Essential storage
Your bag, your sign-in, and the security of checkout. Without these the shop cannot function, so they cannot be switched off — but they carry no identity beyond your own session with us.
The visit log
Every visit is logged on our own servers, whichever option you choose, so that we can see how the shop is being used and spot bots and abuse. The log records the pages you view, the site or advert that brought you here, your browser, operating system and type of device, your IP address and the rough location and internet provider it points to (worked out on our own servers). This needs no cookie: nothing is stored on your device for it, and nothing goes to Google or anyone else. In this log your IP address is deleted about a minute and a half after you leave. To recognise a return visit we keep a one-way code made from your IP address and browser details, which cannot be turned back into either; that code and the pages viewed are deleted after 180 days.
Measurement
If you choose “accept all”, three things run: a visitor number kept in your browser (named to_vid), which lets us link your visits over time; Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies (named _ga) and sends usage data to Google; and Google Ads conversion measurement, which sets its own cookies (named _gcl) to show which adverts lead to orders. However you choose, each order sends Google Analytics an anonymous record of its value and items, with nothing that identifies you, so that sales can be counted.
What we never do
There are no retargeting pixels and no data brokers on this site, and we never use your visit to follow you with adverts elsewhere. Google Analytics and Google Ads are used only to understand how the shop is used and which of our adverts lead to orders.
Changing your mind
Your choice is recorded on this device only, and you can change it whenever you like from this page. Clearing your browser data will make us ask again.

Only if you choose Accept all: we remember this browser with a visitor number, and Google Analytics and Google Ads record which pages and pieces are viewed and which adverts lead to orders. Google’s services set their own cookies and share this data with Google.
